Collection Notice
The Surf Coast Shire Council is committed to protecting your privacy and is bound by the Information Privacy Principles in the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) ("PDP Act"). The personal information requested through the job application form is being collected by Surf Coast Shire Council to assess and process your job application during the recruitment and selection process. If the personal information is not collected, we cannot evaluate your job application or contact you for further questions. We will not disclose your personal information without your consent, except where required or authorised to do so by law. If you are the successful applicant, your application will be kept on file. If you are an unsuccessful applicant, we will retain your information for six months, after which we will destroy your information.
